Political Vendetta: With Indira and Sonia.. Are the cases same ?

I have a friend.. A wise friend.. Infact he is elder to me and is my school time senior.. Currently studying in a prestigious engineering college.. Well leave that, I hate judging people by their institution.. I will write over that the other time..
Yeah, my friend.. he has a great interest in politics and he has acquired some good skills in the field with time.. Its good to see engineers taking interest in other subjects.. I hope he will not turn out to become another Kejriwal.. :p
Well.. He finds the conditions prevailing in country similar to that during the government of Morarji Desai at centre after emergency.. He thinks that the allegations over Sonia are similar to those over Indira and congress will get a similar comeback.. He is continuously trying to convince me over this for last 24 hours.. He thinks that Sonia and Congress will get sympathy of people.. According to him, the 'Indira's Bahu' episode too was a step in this direction..
Bhaiya ! Let me clear a few things.. First of all, the allegations over two have no similarity at all.. This time it includes an allegation under Article 420 too.. You must be familier with the number ! ;) Then it was everything related to misuse of constitutional machinery only.. The biggest difference between the two  persons involved is, one was Indira and the other is her Bahu ! Have you listened the name.. The name, which had a legacy ! A legacy due to which her daughter-in-law, the most important lady in Government of India and the President of nation's oldest party is compelled to call herself the 'Bahu of Indira'
How can you compare the scenario then and now ? Then Congress was the biggest party and the party which was still considered to be working for nation.. Morarji was really acting like taking political revenge.. Yeah.. you call it vendetta ! Is the case same now ? Indira succeeded to convey that she was being targeted.. How will Sonia do that..
Remember, that was india of 1980s and this will be the India of 2020s.. This will mark the biggest difference.. People have not forgotten the 10 years regime of congress and they will not easily forget..
Well, I can agree your point to some extent.. Congress can return.. But then the cause will not be similar to that in 1980.. It will be like what happened in 2004.. They will return due to the attitude and policies of the NDA government.. and the biggest reason of their return will be their biggest opponent BJP, a party which forgets that it is a political party after coming to power !
