आदरणीय नीतीश जी, नमस्कार, ये वक़्त कुशल-क्षेम का नही है, वक़्त तो पत्र लिखने का भी नही है। मगर पिछले तीन दिनों के कश्मकश के बाद अत्यंत क्षुब्धता और दुःख में आपको लिख रहा हूँ। कायदे से मुझे आपको ये पत्र  लिखना भी नही चाहिए था। बताइए, कितनी ही चीजें बीत गईं... मेरे पड़ोस में 'चमकी' हो या पटना का जलजमाव, हर बार मैं खुद को थामे रखा, इस नाउम्मीदी में कि कुछ नही बदलेगा, कि अब आपको फर्क नही पड़ता। मगर इस त्रासद समय में, आपको न लिखने के अपने बात पर मैं कायम नही रह सका। नीतीश जी, इस बार हम आपके भीतर के प्रशासक को लिख रहें, जो पिछले पांच-सात वर्षों में न जाने कहाँ खो गया... स्थिति भीषण है, हमारा राज्य एक त्रासदी के मुहाने पर खड़ा है... अगले सात दिनों में क्या कुछ हो जाए कुछ पता नही है। बातें न करने के इस वक़्त में बातें खोखली भी लगती हैं। खासकर तब जब पूरा देश एक चुनौती के सामने पूरी मजबूती से खड़ा है। धन्यवाद माननीय प्रधानमंत्री का कि उन्होंने उत्सवधर्मी इस देश में आपदा में भी खुश रहने का जज्बा भर दिया। मुख्यमंत्री जी, ऐसे वक्त में मनोवैज्ञानिक मजबूती भी काफी महत्वपूर्ण होता है, खास...
