Institutions must be HANDLED WITH CARE.

Dictatorship is considered to be the worst possibe form of government. Dictators don't like institutions. The most basic thing they do is that they destroy institutions of state and society. Pick any name(dictator) of your choice and look to the history of his time. Study how he interacted with his institutions. I am sure that you won't find any exceptions. Sorry that I have used 'he', but the fact is that I hardly remember any female dictator.

Institutions are the building block of any state or society at micro as well as macro level. So the most fundamental strategy by which one can rule the masses without any barrier is to cut out the institutions from their roots. The subject then becomes helpless and they can rule till they get bored of. Unluckily they never get bored and don't quit until a revolution grows and uproots them.

Democratic societies and states must not attain characters of monarchy or dictatorship. And when they do, their sin becomes the sin of society as a whole. We must all feel the guilt. As I feel in the case of series of incidents that have happened over a period of time in an institution of which I was once a part.

Institutions are meant to be the voices and hopes of people. Once they start crumbling down, the situations start getting out of control and at the worse of it the ruling class becomes despotic.

Be it the world as a whole or a nation or the smallest entity of social belongingness. Anything which is for the sake of humanity should be protected because they carry the hopes of masses, hopes of maginalised as their soul. Every individual has his/her own importance and no one–how so ever powerful–should be given licence to play with their dignity.

And remember, it is the duty of society to stand against the forces which try to break the social and institutional fabric, unless they do it with a clear intention of common good. And if we, as a society, as a nation won't speak against them in voices as louder as their then ultimately it will be the evil's choice to choose a head to dance upon ! And remember, they won't spare anyone. Your turn too will come, some day or the other !

My Dear Friend, I am writing this to you for absolutely no reason. I don’t know how this piece will unfold.
